Consumer dispute resolution under § 36 VSBG

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. Our services are addressed to research institutions, universities and companies and therefore, as a rule, not to consumers.

The generally competent fallback body for consumers is the Universalschlichtungsstelle des Bundes, Zentrum für Schlichtung e. V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, Germany (verbraucher-schlichter.de). The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025, so no reference to it is given.
